These general terms and conditions of makoi KLG as seller and you as customer are valid for all orders in the makoi online store (www.makoi.ch) as well as for those purchases, where makoi KLG declares these terms and conditions as applicable.

Scope of application
The GTC apply to all services provided by makoi KLG in the online store (www.makoi.ch) and become valid at the conclusion of a contract. The deliveries, services and offers of makoi KLG are exclusively based on these GTC, even if they are not expressly agreed again. By sending an order to makoi KLG you confirm that you have read these terms and conditions and agree explicitly with them.

Formation of a contract
All information about goods and prices within the ordering process are subject to change and non-binding. Purchase contracts are concluded by acceptance of your order by makoi KLG. The acceptance of the order will be confirmed by makoi via e-mail and is subsequently binding for you.

Impediments to delivery will also be communicated to you as soon as possible by e-mail. You confirm with your order that you are clear about the scope and content of your order. Questions in this context can therefore be clarified in advance with us.

Prices
All prices on www.makoi.ch are exclusive of shipping costs. The effective shipping costs are displayed in the shopping cart before the order is completed. makoi KLG has the express right to adjust the prices stated online at any time without notice and without further explanation. For the calculation of the prices the time of the order on the website is valid.

Delivery/Shipping
The delivery of the goods is basically made by mail or courier. The delivery time in Switzerland is usually 2 to 5 working days, unless otherwise written in the respective product. This information is without guarantee. At the moment we do not offer deliveries abroad. Contact us if you are interested in a product, we will try to find possibilities.

If the sender does not provide the correct address or an address where the Post Office cannot locate the person, then the return shipping costs charged by the Post Office must be paid by the purchaser.

Should an article of the assortment exceptionally not be available, we will inform you as soon as possible via e-mail. In principle, makoi KLG reserves the right to make a partial delivery, if this seems to be useful for an efficient processing of the overall delivery. Of course, in such cases no additional shipping costs will be charged for the subsequent delivery.

Shipping costs
Makoi calculates a delivery fee of CHF 6.90 up to a value of goods of CHF 99.00. For a higher value of goods we deliver free of shipping costs.

Terms of payment
The following payment options are available to you: Paypal, credit card (Mastercard and Visa) and prepayment by bank transfer.
For advance payment by bank transfer, the payment period is usually 7 days. In case of non-receipt of payment within this period, makoi KLG reserves the right to cancel the order and release the goods for sale again. Any bank transfer fees are to be paid by you.

Warranty and guarantee
The warranty for goods corresponds to generally accepted standards and is 12 months, if a longer or shorter warranty period is not expressly stated on the delivered goods. Defective goods must be reported in writing at the company address within 10 days after delivery or after the occurrence of the damage, otherwise the warranty claim is void. The warranty claim is valid from the date of delivery. It expires in case of improper use or natural wear and tear.

The jute backpack should not be loaded with more than 6 kilograms. makoi KLG reserves the right to decide individually in case of warranty. Excluded is the guarantee and warranty for items that have been declared as outlet goods.

Returns / Return Policy
By accepting the terms and conditions you also automatically accept our return policy.

• Every buyer has a right to return his received articles (exception: vouchers) to makoi within 10 days (deadline: receipt of goods).
• For returns and exchanges, the items must be returned in hygienic condition, otherwise the right to exchange or return will be forfeited.
• The shipping costs incurred and charged by makoi will not be refunded in case of return.
• The return shipping costs must be borne by the buyer.
• Items declared as outlet goods are explicitly excluded from the return guarantee.

Slight model deviations
It happens that the design of individual articles changes slightly. For such modifications of the manufacturers and suppliers makoi KLG can naturally not assume liability.

Care/Handling
Makoi KLG assumes no liability for the customer's misconduct in the care and/or handling of the delivered items.

Donation to environmental protection projects
For each of our products we donate 10% of the proceeds to an environmental protection project selected by us. Here, an amount is passed on to the corresponding organization or any other partners on a quarterly basis. The donation is usually used where it is needed most urgently. We leave this decision to our partners. For other actions, such as a selective donation, we reserve the right to communicate this in advance on our website or social media channels.

Privacy
Makoi KLG undertakes to process your customer data carefully and to observe the provisions of the relevant data protection legislation. In particular, no data will be disclosed to third parties. However, no liability can be assumed for the security of data transmitted on the Internet.

Marketing
Makoi KLG reserves the right to reuse the e-mail address and phone number given with the order for own marketing purposes (newsletter & more). By sending a personal e-mail to info(at)makoi.ch you can opt out of this.

Vouchers
Personal vouchers created only for a specific person or for a specific group may not be shared and may only be redeemed by makoi KLG authorized persons. makoi KLG reserves the right to cancel all unauthorized orders without comment. Only one discount code may be used per order.

Liability general
It is hereby expressly pointed out that against makoi KLG no liability claims for indirect damage or consequential damage of the customer can be asserted, as far as there is no damage caused by makoi KLG intentionally or by gross negligence. So in particular damages from accidents, etc. which occur from the handling of hardware (backpack, etc.) are in your own responsibility.

Change AGB
Makoi KLG expressly reserves the right to unilaterally modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Applicable law/jurisdiction
In any case the relations between you and makoi KLG are subject to Swiss law according to the provisions of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and the Swiss Civil Code (ZGB). The place of jurisdiction is in the district of Werdenberg SG.
